So for my first major assignment through ECAP I had to learn how to use Glogster and Delicious. Glogster is actually really cool. I had alot of fun creating my first glog. I think I will probably be using this site in the classroom alot at least for demonstrations and lesson presentations. I didnt really care for Delicious very much. It seems difficult and like a knock off of pintrest. But hey maybe after I play with it some more it will turn out to be cool.

My First Attempt

So this is my first attempt at creating a blog. For those of us that are not very tech savvy, all this "encouragement" to use new technology in the class room is rather discouraging to say the least. this is my first year to teach and I'm teaching 6th grade ELA and often find that my students are as technologically challenged as I am. I have found that showing them videos like this one helps to put things into perspective for them.
